- The OpenAI API Platform gives the State secure access to OpenAI’s advanced models to build AI capabilities into applications, workflows, websites, and internal systems.

Security & Governance
Both ChatGPT Enterprise and the OpenAI API Platform include enterprise security controls such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and independently audited compliance programs. For both ChatGPT Enterprise and the OpenAI API Platform, customer data is not used to train OpenAI models. Additional security, privacy, and compliance documentation is available through the OpenAI Trust Portal.
